Don't you just hate running out of your favorite products and not having enough money to buy them again? I am running out
of all my body cream, anyway I thought it would be fun to post what my 5 favorite products are:

1. Dolce & Gabbana: Light Blue-the best perfume, it has a citrus like smell, people always ask what I am wearing when I put on this heavenly stuff.

2. Winter Candy Apple: This lotion has such a great sweet scent, and its a perfect fall/winter scent. I am almost out of it, sad day.

3. Clinique Pore Minimizer: Brooke gave me a tiny bottle of this, I think it was a sample or something and it is a miracle worker! I am serious, I put a tiny dot of this on my nose and my pores disappear.

4. Coastal Scents Camo Concealer Quad: I love love love this product! I used to have to buy pretty pricey concealer, I have tried so many kinds, Clinique and Bobby Brown were among the better ones, but why spend over $20 on one when this one is only $8! It has lasted half a year and I am sure that it will last for at least 3 more months. The green and yellow cancels out red spots, also on blemishes to make them virtually disappear. I found out about it on my favorite beauty blog: http://www.blairfowler.blogspot.com/

5. Catwalk Headshot Shampoo and Conditioner: This stuff works so good! It smells like strawberries and fudge and is a great hydrate for my dry highlighted hair.

Anyway that was fun, and a waste of time, oh well. I got a 95% on the hardest math test of the semester by the way, so I guess this can be counted as my break from studying, Me and Alisha are heading to Utah for Conference tomorrow and we are staying with Melissa, I am SO excited!

i love it here!!

College life is great! Alisha and I are having tons of fun! As requested, mom, I have included pictures of what our room looks like...

Call me selfish, but its nice to have a roommate who has as much homework as I do! Since Alisha is doing nursing too, she is experiencing the full joy of anatomy and physiology. College is a shock from high school.

I am having fun in my anatomy and physiology class, I really just love learning about it and so its not hard to study. Except the biochem part. I went on a date last Saturday with a cute guy named Cade, we met in Anatomy and Physiology 265 last semester. It was lots of fun, we played frisbee golf and won, made pizza bombs (calzones) and played an interesting game where everyone had to look stupid, ha... Anyway Alisha has a hot date this Friday with a kid who we met at devotional last week!

We already have like a million inside jokes and are always cracking each other up, our other roommates always ask us what is wrong. We enjoy frequent dance parties, late night subway runs, soccer, movies, we went to a Jon Schmid concert two weeks ago which was super good as well.

We enjoy the opera singer who practices two hours a day in the apartment next door and the harp selections of our roommate across the hall, never a quiet moment here! haha.

back in the saddle

Well it's been a long week! It has been so fun! On Saturday I flew into Salt Lake City and stayed with Melissa for a couple of days, we had fun going to cafe rio multiple times, thank to mom :) and shopping, blading a fun trail, and watching movies. Melissa is such a great hostess and I love staying with her and Sam! She even gave me a nice present when I left. I then headed up to school and arrived on Tuesday at around 2pm. I was nervous about meeting my roommates because 4 of them were surprises, but they are all so nice! We are all going to take turns making dinner for everyone on Sundays so I better freshen up my cooking skills! We all get along so good and just hang out and talk a lot so its fun. The classes I am taking are New Testament and the teacher seems really cool, Anatomy and Physiology 264 again! since I got an 86% last time I have to retake it to get an A :( My friend Lyndee is retaking it with me though so it should be fun... I love the subject so there is always more you can get out of it. I am also taking Math, English, Jazz, and auditing a ballet class which basically means I can just go take class whenever I want and it doesn't count towards credit so that will be nice. I think I will drop my jazz class though because the teacher does not seem like the nicest person, she told us she was the meanest in the department and that she would only give you an A if she would pay money to see you perform, sooo I don't think I will risk getting lower than that!

Alisha and I met some really cool people that were Caitlin's friends in Tucson so we have been hanging out with them and their apartment. This weekend has been a blur of watching movies, playing soccer, hot tubbing, the Jon Schmit concert and a Mindy Gledhill performance. I just got called as the Relief Society Secretary for this semester so we'll see how that goes! I have never had a big calling like that so it makes me a little nervous!

This is random, but as I was walking home from church today I was thinking about how crazy it is that I am in Idaho of all places! I just feel so good about being here its comforting to know that it is where I am supposed to be, I look back at my experiences these past three semesters and I can really see how the Lord has blessed my life with the friendships I have made and the people I have met. I feel like my every move has been inspired by the Lord whether it be the classes I have taken, the professors I have had, it has just been a great experience and I love it!

Cake

If I never see another cake again, it will be too soon. So my friend Kamala and the food network inspired me to try to make a fondant cake! It is quite typical of myself to jump right into complex things instead of starting with something simple. So I decided I was going to make a 3 layer fondant ocean cake with chocolate cake filled with chocolate chip buttercream, sugar coral and gram cracker sand. I set out to work at about 4 and worked until about 7. I used a great fondant recipe that involved marshmellows and tasted really good. Lets just say, food network is deceiveing because it is not as easy as it looks!! The filling tasted really good, but it was not firm enough so as I layed the fondant, it seeped out the sides making part of the fondant tear. I decided to take off the top layer and make that a separate cake, and then make the bottom two layers into a birthday cake for Rhett, he loved it!

Not quite was was intended... The top represents the beach...

I knew that Rhett, Ethan, and Kade would like any cake with juju fish on it. haha!
