SNOW!

Our ward had a super fun snow trip a couple weeks ago so I thought I would post some pictures from it. We went up to flagstaff and found a popular sledding spot and had tons of fun! It was kinda icy though so it really hurt when we crashed. We went down at least 30 times so I was so sore the next morning! One of the leaders made scones, chili, and cocoa so that was super good! On the ride home we all fell asleep in the car, my last snow trip with my ward before I grow up! I will miss these fun activities!

Ok so Ethan and Kade come over almost every Friday for a couple of hours so we can play with them and they are always doing funny things. Last Friday Ethan grabbed a big pound of meat and was balancing it on his head while walking around the house. Then he wanted a picture of him and his amazing skill so we took it on the web cam. Then Kade also insisted on a picture. haha! They are so random!

Winter Break

It was super fun to have everyone here for Winter Break! We saw tons of movies, shopped, and played games. It is was so fun to have everyone together and was really sad when they all left!

This is from when we had just finished putting up all the ordaments on the christmas tree. We wrap them in toilet paper, hence the huge pile. haha!

The annual christmas play was super fun! The boys were wisemen and Ally was a shephard.

There's always one.....j/k Cody couldn't get enough of the strong apple cider! If you look closely you will also see a grandma in the background wearing clogs... haha jk brooke!

Dad's Birthday! It was a fun day, he is opening a hawaiian christmas cd from ash.
Things I love about dad: He is kind to us, He holds the priesthood and gives us blessings when we need them, He works hard for our family, he always cooks really good salsa, potstickers, and lettuce wraps, he takes us to see movies, he is an excellent gardener.

I am now officially an adult!
On my birthday my mom took us all to The Nutcraker it was so fun! This picture is from a couple of days earlier we went to Oreganos and namebrands for shopping! so fun!

Below are my three best presents! they are so cute and thoughtful! I hung them up in my room.

Glendale Glitters

We went to Glendale Glitters on Saturday to perform The Nutcracker! It was really fun to perform with so many people watching! Also very nerve-wracking! Ally is a soldier and a chinese and I am a flute. It was crazy trying to find parking and I made us late, but luckily we made it about 30 min. before the performance! I am such a disorganized person and Ally is the opposite so it doesn't go so well when we have to get to places at the same time haha! Luckily, she and my mom are organizing a system that will help me become more organized...hehe not sure if it will work, but I try!

These are some pictures that Brooke took for us:
Us and Mom! She is the best mom ever! And we don't have a picture of the best dad ever he was waiting for us outside! He bought us roses! thanks guys you are the best!

Us and Brooke! She was so very nice to come see us even though she had a lot of finals to do! I don't know why my face is so shiny eh! hopefully that was just the flash!

The Flute dance...we couldn't do it on pointe because of the cement and all the cracks :(

Ally doing her chinese dance, Shes so cute, she is the one in the middle! She can hop like a grasshopper!

Thankful

This is a little late, but better than never! here are some of the things I am most thankful for, there are a ton so I thought I would just do 5-

*My Family

I love my family so much! It is so fun when we all get together. We have so many fun traditions and things that we do together! I am so thankful for them! I am so excited for Christmas when we can all get together and talk and have fun together. I thought I would write some things that I like most about each family member:

1. My Dad- He is such a hard worker! I am amazed at how much he does for our family and he is such a good dad. He is kind, fun, and intelligent. He is also a great chef and I love when he makes his salsa and lettuce wraps!

2. My Mom-She is amazing! She is the most unselfish person I know and always so generous! She is patient, kind and caring. She makes everyone of us feel special and does so much service! She is also a very good cook especially when she makes lemon chicken!

3. Brooke-She is an amazing sister and mother and has raised 3 cute boys. I don't know how she does everything she does! She is stylish, funny, and creative. Everytime we are together I get an ab workout from laughing so hard!

4. Melissa- She is an inspiration! She's an amazing college graduate who is a super fast runner. She is very considerate, fun, and nice and is always finding ways to make people happy and feel better when they are sad.

5. Ashley- She is very laid back, calm, and perfect (lol!) She is so fun to do stuff with and is my rock climbing buddy! When me and Ally were little we called her "Life of the Party" and we used to march around outside her bedroom door and have her autograph all our stuff haha!

6. Ally Ally is an excellent ballet dancer and is always spinning and dancing where ever she goes! She is very thoughtful, graceful, and creative. She is always thinking of creative things to do and fun to be around.

There is a better picture of us all, but I could not find it because our files were switched to another folder!
*The Gospel
I am so thankful for the gospel in my life. I do not know what I would do without it and it is just so amazing! I love everything about it! Everything in this church is just so right and true and I am so thankful that I am a part of the true gospel of Jesus Christ! I am also very thankful for our prophet President Thomas S. Monson!

*Friends

Then: Here is a picture from back in the day! haha! This is 7th grade. We had so much fun together and were so entertained with taking pictures the whole night! This was before a church dance I believe!

Now: Here is a more recent photo. We have so much fun together and always find ways to make boring Arizona fun! I love these girls they mean so much to me!

* A Job

As many of you know... I finally got a job! I work at Hollister now and had a memorable first shift on Friday night/Saturday morning from 9pm-2am folding clothes after the black friday rush! 5 hours of it! But I am not complaining, I am so thankful to have a job now! The people I work with are super nice and I have already become close friends with a couple of them!

* The newest member of our family: Coconut (coco)

We got him on Thanksgiving and he is the cutest little bunny! He even has blue eyes! He loves to be held and to hop around outside. Everytime you walk by his cage he will hop toward you and stand up because he loves attention!

* Dance- I am sooo grateful for the opportunity I have to take dance classes. I have been so blessed and always seem to have just enough money to pay for it. It would not be possible without my mom! She helps me finance it and I am so grateful! Dancing means the world to me and I never want to stop!

A Tribute to John McCain

I was never really into politics until recently, I am not sure what sparked my interest, but since the summer I have been really into researching both the candidates and their stances on the issues, researching propositions, etc. I love it! I didn't miss a debate and was the first one in our family to know the 411 about each candidate.-i know its strange haha! Our class at school is even doing a Fantasy Congress league! I had been following the race very closly and was estatic when I heard that we were invited to attend John McCain's election party-thanks to Jeff! It was so fun with all our cousins and the cool atmosphere of a Presidential election party. I kinda knew what was coming and was sad to find out that McCain's speech would not be one of victory, but one of concession :( I have been thinking about it all day and it makes me really sad! To me John McCain was the best choice for President, but people overlooked it because of Obamas eloquent way of phrasing his pointless plans that our country just doesn't have the money for. Anyway I won't bore you with my views on these haha! I really admire John McCain's love for our country and his service as a Navy Pilot. I can't even imagine what he must have gone through at those camps, but it is undeniable the love he has for the U.S.A. He had so much to bring to the table and would have been way more prepared to deal with the war in Iraq. Here are some pictures and videos from the party last night. It was a night I will never forget! Here's to McCain!

In the ballroom listening to John Rich, He sang his song "Raisin' McCain"

This is one of those moments where I wish I had a really good camera!

Below is a video I took of his speech:
